Asst. Store Director

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain good atmosphere, spirit, and morale throughout the store
• Channel communication to all departments and from departments to Director
• Identify areas of opportunity throughout the entire store
• Aid in the implementation of new programs and directives
• Aid in forecasting and implementing programs to achieve volume and labor goals
• Evaluate overages or deficiencies in weekly sales and labor performance
• Manage donation budget with the Store Director
• Develop community relations and build goodwill for the store and company
• Coordinate personnel reprimands with Department Managers
• Safeguard, control, and monitor all store assets
• Perform other duties as requested or required by upper management

Key Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in store management or equivalent
• Work a minimum of 48 hours per week, involving multiple opening, closing, and day shifts depending on store needs
• Professional communication and leadership skills
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs, and standing for up to 6 hours
• Technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, and Email)
• Flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
