Responsibilities
- Act as the official point of contact with the Government.
- Manage all aspects of the contract, including committing organizational resources as necessary.
- Afford assistance to the Project Manager in fulfilling contract requirements.
- Establish and maintain a quality control program according to contract requirements.
- Perform daily quality control inspections on all work performed.
- Maintain safety standards for custodial and grounds maintenance equipment; may have security responsibility for an assigned area; and assist in maintaining satisfactory customer relations.
- Supervise crew leaders, custodial and grounds personnel.
- Aid in the preparation and approval process of payroll.
- Aid in the preparation of employees’ performance evaluations.
- Train and instruct supervisors and assigned personnel on safety and work-related topics.
- Aid in the interview and hiring process.
- Communicate to supervisors and other management members as required.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Attend employee meetings as required.
- Absorb and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements and government regulations.
- Manage and maintain a contract budget, review processes for efficiency.
- Schedule personnel, review and approve time cards, manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
- Set and guide employee expectations, review and counsel, and establish and implement process improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Execute Employee Performance Evaluations through the payroll system within appropriate timeframes.
- Ensure standard work practices are followed for safety and provide training for operating equipment and vehicles, use of supplies, and the requirements of the performance work statement.
- Assist in analyzing and maintaining the contract AbilityOne Ratio requirements through proper work scheduling of direct disabled employee hours vs non-disabled employee hours.
- Assist in the completion of Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for each AbilityOne employee.
- Facilitate the AbilityOne interview process and obtain medical documentation in coordination with the AbilityOne department.
- Execute reports, inspections, and logs as required by the contract.
- Aid in providing field information and specifications to prepare estimates for new work added or deleted to the contract.
