Asst. Manager- Cutting (Woven, Jacket, Denim)

About the Role

Lead the entire cutting department operations (Woven Tops & Bottoms, Jackets & Denim).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate fabric consumption, marker planning, and fabric utilization.
• Review and approve cutting plans, lay planning, and marker efficiency.
• Ensure cutting is done as per buyer specifications, size ratio, and pattern.
• Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, CAD, Sample and store departments.
• Ensure the cutting output meets daily production targets without compromising quality.
• Ensure fabric is cut with minimum wastage and maximum efficiency.
• Handle all pre-production activities related to cutting and ensure on-time sample delivery.
• Maintain strict quality standards in fabric relaxation, laying and cutting accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain all cutting-related documentation and reports.
• Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a present time-frame.
• Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
