Asst Girls Soccer Coach - Athletics

Job Summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a qualified Assistant Girls Soccer Coach to support Cardinal Ritter College Prep's soccer program. Located in Shrewsbury, MO, the Cardinal Rigali Center serves as the headquarters for the Archdiocese.

Essential Responsibilities

• Aid the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and game preparation.
• Provide individual and team instruction to enhance player skills, performance, and understanding of the game.
• Support game-day operations, including coaching responsibilities and team management.
• Aid with program administration, including communication, equipment management, and record keeping.
• Encourage academic success and positive character development among student-athletes.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented culture.
• Ensure compliance with school, conference, and athletic department policies and expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous soccer playing and/or coaching experience, particularly at the high school or club level, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and team dynamics is required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A commitment to the academic, personal, and athletic development of student-athletes is necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, students, parents, and school staff is crucial.
• Must satisfy all applicable district, diocesan, and state coaching certification and background check requirements.
