Asst. Electrical Reliability Superintendent (Valdosta GA)

Principle Accountabilities

• Manages all phases of developing key electrical maintenance programs from conception through final implementation.
• Works with key electrical maintenance and engineering personnel to support daily, monthly scheduled maintenance outages and annual outages jobs within the field of electrical maintenance and engineering.
• Crossover activities to the mechanical maintenance programs may be required to deliver complete programs for all types of equipment.
• Works with electrical maintenance/engineering and operations personnel to complete electrical or mechanical maintenance projects and programs including: necessary training, stocking of spare parts, preventive maintenance checklists, drawing creation and updates, etc.
• Supports the Mills goals for safety, environmental, and other areas of need.
• Focuses on electrical equipment reliability.
• Manages equipment tracking and rebuild programs.
• Utilizes predictive & preventative maintenance programs to identify and correct equipment issues.
• Inputs and updates equipment information and documentation.
• Develops equipment manuals for precision inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Manages area equipment PM and maintenance programs.
• Manages assigned work for monthly and annual outages.
• Affects MS Project timelines for monthly and annual outages.
• Plans and executes capital projects for maintenance replacements of equipment.
• Effectively manages jobs for best results at lowest cost.
• Looks for opportunities to solve issues, reduce costs, and improve planning performance.
• Solves problems utilizing the mill’s RCFA program.
• Effectively manages contractors for performing jobs.

Basic Qualifications

• Performs other responsibilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience, or the equivalent, in Electrical maintenance.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.
• Successful completion of drug screen required and authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pulp & Paper industry experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary range for position: [$86,400 - $120,000].

Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year.

Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
