About the role
Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on the campus of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin. With our primary practice site and academic offices in Odessa, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has been an integral part of this institution since the inception of this campus.
Responsibilities
- Provide call coverage and Labor & Delivery support.
- Provide outpatient OB/GYN care in clinic.
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
- Participate in quality programs and evidence-based medicine.
- Adhere to institutional, department and hospital policies.
- Occasional duties as assigned by the chair, including conducting lectures, ground rounds, or teaching sessions with residents and/or medical students.
Requirements
- M.D., D.O., or Foreign Equivalent.
- Completion or will be completing an OB/GYN residency.
- Board Eligible, or in the process of becoming board eligible, in OB/GYN.
- Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
Qualifications
- Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Skills

- Experience with evidence-based medicine.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.
Schedule
Clinic 8:00am-5:00pm; call at the hospital.
