Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Ph.D. required
• MD/DO or equivalent
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, an ACGME accredited Endocrinology Fellowship
• Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
• Foreign Medical Graduates only: ECFMG Certification or Equivalency Certification

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat hormonal imbalances and disorders
• Prescribe medications, hormone replacement therapies and lifestyle adjustments for treatment plans
• Provide ongoing care for diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, PCOS, etc.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
• Document all services in patient medical record
• Participate in quality improvement and other patient care programs
• Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in bedside teaching and lectures for fellows, residents and medical students
