Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) seeks cardiologists with advanced heart failure, transplant, and mechanical assist devices training. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
- Play key roles in ambulatory and hospital-based care
- Achieve active contributions to education and training
- Lead initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety, and research
- Assist in the development of a heart-failure/transplant teaching rotation for cardiology fellows
- Collaborate closely with transplant surgeons in program development
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine
- Completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
- Completion of 1 year fellowship in Heart Failure Transplant or equivalent training experience
- Ohio State Medical License and DEA License
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
