Associational Missionary/Director of Missions

The Cherokee Baptist Association is prayerfully beginning the search for its next full-time Associational Missionary/Director of Missions. Located in rural Northeast (Centre) Alabama, the position is a full-time role.

About the role

The successful candidate will lead and support the mission work of the Association's 35 member churches, with 28 being bi-vocational and 7 full-time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the mission work of the Association's 35 member churches
• Oversee the bi-vocational and full-time church ministries
• Collaborate with the pastoral staff to enhance the spiritual life of the churches
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the Association's outreach efforts

Requirements

• A strong commitment to the mission and vision of the Cherokee Baptist Association
• Experience in church leadership and management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of church leaders and members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in church leadership or similar field
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
