The CFO Services practice within Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) is a growing business offering excellent opportunities for career advancement and leadership development. Professionals in this role work closely with private equity firms to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial models and strategies
• Managing and analyzing financial data to make informed decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business challenges
• Providing interim CFO, Controller, and Treasurer services
• Assisting with merger integration and carve-out processes
• Supporting IT and supply chain initiatives

Requirements

• Solid understanding of finance and accounting
• Experience with financial modeling and financial statement development
• Treasury and cash management experience
• Systems implementation experience

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of relevant work experience in areas such as management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, treasury, sourcing, supply chain, corporate finance, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year institution
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short/immediate notice

Benefits

A&M offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. Additionally, the firm provides a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
