Associate Welder

About the role

We are seeking a Welder I to join our dynamic team at Wenger Manufacturing, LLC, a JBT Marel company. Our mission is to design and manufacture high-quality processing equipment that serves global customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks following established procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare, weld, and finish simple components and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts for proper dimensions, fit, and overall quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding tools and equipment.
• Safely operate industrial equipment and follow all workplace safety requirements.
• Report quality concerns, defects, or process issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support team goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all company policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous welding experience is helpful but not required.
• Technical training, welding coursework, or vocational education is a plus.
• Ability to learn welding techniques, manufacturing processes, and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced team members.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A dependable work ethic and positive attitude.
