Responsibilities
- Create video clips that narratively stand on their own, optimized for platform-specific distribution, using strong editorial judgment and deep knowledge of Forbes' content to ensure brand alignment
- Collaborate closely with all project stakeholders (including but not limited to video producers, sales leads, social strategists) to deliver on sponsored campaigns within a 24-hour turnaround
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive video archive that allows for fast repurposing of content for editorial, social, and sponsored use
- Publish all assigned content across Forbes YouTube channels, Forbes.com and additional third-party distribution platforms. Responsibilities include writing performance-optimized titles, descriptions, tags and creating thumbnails and playlists
- Regularly monitor analytics across platforms to provide actionable insights on audience retention and growth
- Support the podcast team by posting audio files to relevant distribution channels
- Assist production for Forbes summits and conferences. Lead post-production workflows to turn live event footage, backstage interviews and social content into polished digital assets
- Collaborate with the social strategy team to deliver assets for social-first projects
- Collaborate with video producers to source, research, outline and draft scripts for daily news hits and long-form features
- Collaborate with Forbes staff across departments including social, design, photo, SEO, the newsroom and more to facilitate and optimize video reporting opportunities
- Collaborate with the engineering team on video platform improvements by identifying technical issues, managing ticket workflows and collaborating with developers on feature enhancements
- Demonstrate total command of Forbes’ editorial standards and the 'Forbsian' voice, ensuring brand consistency across all video metadata, scripts and promotional copy
Requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with high-level executives, PR teams and external talent
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro)
Comfortable in a hybrid work environment and willing to put in extra hours during major news cycles or flagship summits
Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this role is $66,300
