Associate Veterinarian (part-time) - Deschutes Animal Clinic - Tumwater, WA

About the role

The Associate DVM position is part-time (2 days per week) at a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in Tumwater, Washington. The hospital is a member of the WellHaven Pet Health network, offering support and resources to help veterinarians succeed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent, high-quality care and safe, exceptional service
• Adhere to WellHaven protocols and practices
• Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to develop development plans
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical charting
• Provide comprehensive client communication
• Participate in community events and hospital projects
• Advocate for exceptional client service and patient well-being
• Provide medical training to support staff
• Lead and guide the team to ensure safety standards and regulations
• Meet all OSHA standards and regulations

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License
• Current USDA Accreditation (optional but preferred)

Pay

$60,000 - $90,000 + production
