About the role

Ohana Pet Hospitals are searching for Veterinarians to join their teams in Ventura and Santa Paula, California. They are looking for exceptional veterinarians to join their 12 doctor team. Ohana is an AAHA accredited, progressive companion animal general practice that focuses on training and developing their teams' individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time doctors work 3-4 shifts per week
  • Require availability to work on Saturdays (not all Saturdays)
  • General Practitioners provide medical and surgical care for dogs and cats
  • Urgent Care Practitioners receive mainly same-day appointments and emergency cases
  • Competently perform surgery on non-complicated emergency cases such as gastrointestinal foreign bodies, urethral obstruction, abscess, and laceration repairs

Requirements

  • All levels of experience
  • Excellent client communication and customer service skills
  • A dedication to continued education

Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD
  • Valid California veterinary license and ability to obtain a DEA license

Pay

The salary range for this opportunity is $130,000 - $165,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Full-time doctors work 3-4 shifts per week
