Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our established small animal practice in Edmonds, Washington. Surgery & Dentistry

Our doctors enjoy a diverse surgical and dental caseload that includes:

  • Spays and neuters
  • Mass removals and biopsies
  • Foreign body surgeries
  • Splenectomies
  • Cystotomies
  • Eyelid procedures
  • Enucleations
  • Amputations
  • Advanced dental procedures
  • Digital dental radiography

Clinic, Equipment & Support Team

Our hospital is equipped to support efficient, high-quality patient care, including:

  • Two sparkling clean exam rooms
  • Multiparameter monitoring for all anesthetic procedures

Schedule

  • Four-day work week
  • Potential for three consecutive days off each week
  • Primary DVM on Saturdays
  • Hospital open Monday through Saturday

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates)
  • Active Washington veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client service

Preferred

  • Experience in small animal general practice or companion animal medicine
  • Interest in soft tissue surgery and veterinary dentistry
  • Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
  • Passion for preventive medicine and client education

Pay

The salary for this opportunity starts at $150,000+ annually. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Washington Pay Range: $150,000—$170,000 USD.
