Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Description Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. Founded in 1968, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care through progressive medicine and genuine compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animal species
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic results
• Conduct regular health check-ups and vaccinations
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and home care instructions
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current Massachusetts license to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations calmly

$112,000–$144,000/yr
