Associate Veterinarian - Del Norte Animal Clinic (Albuquerque, NM)

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an early career veterinarian or an experienced Veterinarian who understands the importance of client education and relationship building. Effective, compassionate, and respectful communicators are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize effective communication skills, empathy, and personal attention to help our patients.
• Participate in a paper-lite practice that makes our hospital feel like home.
• Offer a range of services including wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, radiology, ultrasound, and intensive care.
• Work in an AAHA-accredited practice with state-of-the-art facilities including an in-house lab, digital radiography, a stand-alone isolation ward, and a dedicated surgical suite.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico.
• Experience in small animal medicine.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
