Lower Columbia Veterinary Clinic, Beloved Community Hospital | Surgery & Urgent Care | Longview, WA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team in Longview, Washington. Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases, including preventive care, urgent care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, senior pet care, regenerative medicine, and canine reproduction services.
• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and continue to develop surgical skills.
• Adapt and make decisions when managing urgent care cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
• Expand and grow the hospital’s clinical services and contribute to a positive hospital culture.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates).
• Active Washington veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
• Strong commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-doctor practice environment.
• Passion for patient care, client education, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Required: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates).
• Required: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
• Preferred: Experience in small animal general practice and urgent care.
• Preferred: Proficiency in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing ultrasound, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Preferred: Interest in helping expand clinical services and hospital capabilities.
