Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Alta Vista Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian. They are open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Colorado for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care for pets in the Montrose, Olathe, Delta, Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride areas.
• Offer routine wellness exams, advanced diagnostics, and surgery.
• Deliver personalized attention and high-quality medical services tailored to each pet's unique needs.

Requirements

• Licensed (or able to become licensed) in Colorado.
• Flexible scheduling and need for Friday availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in medical software and equipment.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
