Hillside Small Animal Hospital, located just outside Cincinnati in the growing suburb of Batavia, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our family-oriented team. We are a busy, well-established small animal practice known for exceptional client communication, lifelong wellness care, and advanced medical and surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with two experienced veterinarians, a full-time practice manager, four licensed RVTs, and a strong team of veterinary assistants and CSRs.
- Offer comprehensive services including internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry with digital dental radiology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery (including cruciate ligament repair, luxating patella, and fracture repair).
- Utilize modern equipment such as digital radiology with teleradiology consultation, mobile ultrasound, high-speed dental unit, and a fully equipped surgical suite for advanced procedures.
- Work in client-centered facilities with four exam rooms (including a comfort room), all equipped with networked computers and wall-mounted monitors for efficient communication and education.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Eligible for or currently holds Ohio Veterinary license.
- Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
