Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Vetcare, located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is expanding and seeks part-time (2 days per week) compassionate veterinarians to join their collaborative, community-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Practice high-quality veterinary medicine with medical freedom, advanced technology, and strong support
• Support comprehensive small animal care
• Develop special interests in orthopedic surgery, laser therapy, acupuncture, and advanced ultrasound
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment
• Prioritize client relationships, clinical excellence, and continuous learning

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates)
• Active Arkansas veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Successful completion of the NAVLE
• Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Dedication to exceptional patient care and client service
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
