Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on thorough problem lists and diagnostic assessments.
- Maintain detailed records in the medical record system.
- Perform a variety of surgical and dental procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care and communication.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Active veterinary license in the state where the hospital is located.
- DEA and Controlled Substance licenses, if applicable.
- USDA Category I accreditation or equivalent within two months of hire.
Qualifications
- Comfortable with anesthesia and various surgical procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with the ability to handle emotionally challenging situations.
- Proficient in using computers and phones.

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
