About the role
Two privately owned practices in the North Kansas City, MO area, Animal Clinic of the Woodlands and NKC Animal Clinic, are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of sick and injured animals
- Performing surgeries and other medical procedures
- Assisting in the care of hospitalized patients
- Preventing and treating diseases
- Providing preventive care and wellness programs
- Collaborating with the team to ensure patient care
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Must obtain and maintain an active Missouri veterinary license prior to employment
Qualifications
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
