Associate Underwriter
About the role
The selected candidate will be involved with a variety of underwriting activities, including preparation of quotes and proposals, handling the renewal underwriting and negotiation of less complex accounts, organizing and analyzing underwriting information, working closely with multiple underwriters, and cultivating strong working relationships with agency personnel, our Rating and Loss Control staff, and other departments.

Requirements
This position requires a strong team working skills, technical excellence, a desire for continuous learning, and compassion and respect for others. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting, preferably in commercial lines. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $24.80-$38.19 hourly.
Schedule
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days from home.
