Associate Tire Tech

About the role

As an Associate Tire Technician, you'll perform basic to mid-range diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Assists in basic to mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assists with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and replacements in assigned classification
• Operates with basic tooling
• May work with others in an apprentice-style environment
• Performs tire repairs; repairs or replaces tires; mounts and dismounts tires
• Controls tire inventory
• Repairs or replaces wheels
• Delivers tires to tire banks
• Operates a forklift

Requirements

• Months of related experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain and maintain a tire certification
• Obtain and maintain a CDL
• Meet H-E-B driving qualifications

Physical Demands

• Lift 100 lbs and carry for 5 feet
• Work while sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position
• Work with hands over head
• Climb and work from a ladder
