Associate Test Technician
Element has an opportunity for an Associate Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories, this position performs routine and non-routine testing assignments, ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The role requires proficiency in core business skills, including compliance with safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Conducts environmental simulation tests such as Temperature/Humidity, Thermal shock, Salt spray, Shock, Vibration, HALT, IP, Package testing, Acceleration, and Altitude.
- Contribute to 5S and safety goals of the laboratory.
- Support laboratory with report writing.
- Professionally interact with customers when testing is witnessed.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety.
- HS diploma or GED certificate preferred; college or vocational school coursework welcomed.
- 0-2 years’ experience in a testing-related field.
- Basic understanding of testing concepts.
- Possess computer skills; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus.
Physical Demands
- Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
- Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion.
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. periodically.
Pay
$25–$30/hr, dependent on experience.
