Associate Test Engineer (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define electrical testing requirements.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve test plans and test procedures.
  • Execute electrical and electromechanical tests in accordance with approved documentation.
  • Analyze test data and prepare clear technical reports for engineering teams.
  • Serve as a technical resource for laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause investigations during testing.
  • Afford opportunities for automation.
  • Train and support technicians and engineers on test equipment and procedures when required.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with internal quality standards and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in engineering, testing, laboratory, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an engineering or R&D laboratory, Exposure to automated testing or scripting, Familiarity with electronic laboratory equipment such as: Digital multimeters, Power supplies, Source meters, Oscilloscopes (preferred), Experience testing complex electrical or electronic hardware, Knowledge of environmental, vibration, or reliability testing, Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
