About the role
This is an onsite position located in Zeeland, MI. It is not eligible for hybrid or remote work at this time.
Responsibilities
- Perform electronic design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
- Support development of test requirements, methods, and limits to confirm the quality of products during development and mass production.
- Utilize electrical CAD tools to support electronic design for embedded applications.
- Utilize electrical design analysis and simulation tools to aid in electronic design and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
- Support debugging and root cause analysis of complex electronic products.
- Support cross-functional design reviews for electronic schematics and printed circuit board layouts.
- Work with a mentor to develop engineering capabilities and become proficient in Gentex processes.
- Evaluate supplier components against internal application requirements.
- Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant professional work experience.
- Professional experience in automotive new product development.
