About the role

The Associate Territory Manager will support the Chicagoland sales team in driving revenue growth and market share for Becton, Dickinson and Company's products within a defined territory. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of territory sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Support Senior Sales Representatives and Territory Managers in managing existing customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, showcasing features and benefits of BD products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff within assigned accounts.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, clinical, customer service) to ensure seamless customer experience and support.
  • Attend and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings as required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related scientific field.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Chicagoland region, including overnight stays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Schedule

For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance.
