Associate Territory Manager - Chicago/Detroit/Grand Rapids
About the role
The Associate Territory Manager will support the Chicagoland sales team in driving revenue growth and market share for Becton, Dickinson and Company's products within a defined territory. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of territory sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Support Senior Sales Representatives and Territory Managers in managing existing customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, showcasing features and benefits of BD products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff within assigned accounts.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, clinical, customer service) to ensure seamless customer experience and support.
- Attend and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related scientific field.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Ability to travel frequently within the Chicagoland region, including overnight stays as needed.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Schedule
