Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment companies.
- Conduct comprehensive fundamental research on industry trends, technology developments, competitive dynamics, and company-specific catalysts.
- Perform valuation and financial analysis to support stock recommendations and investment theses.
- Aid in the development of differentiated, value-added research that generates actionable insights for institutional investors.
- Prepare earnings previews, earnings analyses, thematic research reports, and industry updates.
- Participate in meetings with company management teams, industry experts, and institutional investors.
- Monitor earnings releases, industry data points, supply chain developments, and regulatory trends impacting the Semiconductor sector.
- Develop expertise across key Semiconductor end markets, including AI, data center, automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics.
- Support client interactions and increasingly contribute to communicating research views and investment recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with senior analysts on coverage expansion, special projects, and strategic research initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of semiconductor-focused equity research experience, preferably on the sell-side.
- Strong understanding of the Semiconductor ecosystem, including chip manufacturers, foundries, fabless companies, memory suppliers, and equipment providers.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
- Prioritize ability to analyze complex business models and synthesize information into clear investment conclusions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated passion for equity markets, technology, and fundamental research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- MBA and/or CFA designation (or progress toward CFA) is preferred but not required.
- Experience interacting with institutional investors and management teams is a plus.
Pay
$175,000 - $225,000
