Associate - Technician
About the role
We are seeking an Associate - Technician to support New Glenn (NG) Operations in our Work Centers. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks to assist with manufacturing, production, logistics, and facilities functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the setup of new production work areas, ensuring tooling and equipment are properly configured for operational efficiency and safety.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and other ground support equipment as required to facilitate production processes.
- Support Continuous Improvement projects aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency in the workplace, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
- Perform routine functions, including daily clean-up of work areas, supporting 5S activities, and eliminating Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Move parts and tooling between work centers as needed to optimize workflow.
- Undertake additional duties assigned by higher-level technicians or supervision that contribute to fulfilling our mission of safe space exploration.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in basic hand tools and assembly processes.
- A High School diploma, GED, or Military experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee.

- Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking to refine and enhance processes to contribute to operational success.
- Curiosity to understand business details and optimize operations, fostering innovation in the workplace.
- Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work overtime.
