About the role
We are seeking an Associate Technical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of our technical solutions. This role involves all aspects of the technical process, from initial concept and analysis through design, development, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions
- Providing general production monitoring and support
- Maintaining production schedules and reporting issues to leadership
- Documenting technical processes and participating in knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborating on architecture design to align with enterprise goals and standards
- Performing technical analysis and providing insights for decision-making
- Supporting a wide range of technical initiatives across multiple teams
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in technical problem solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration
- 1 year of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting
- 3 years of experience with technology platforms, application development tools, business processes, and software development life cycle
- 3 years of experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs
- 3 years of experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions, or developing technology solutions in healthcare
- 3 years of experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services
- 3 years of technical governance, quality, and technical security best practices
- 3 years of experience translating requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs
- 3 years of experience producing technical solutions that are fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable
- 3 years of clinical experience (nursing, technician, etc)
- Experience with clinical applications (Natus, Xper, Cardiolab, Muse, ISCV)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred

- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and basic analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Interest and ability to learn other technologies as needed
- Comfortable with a range of data tools and technologies, with a willingness to learn new skills
- Entry-level track record in designing, implementing, and/or supporting large-scale technical solutions
- Basic sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Demonstrated passion for user experience and improving usability
- Strong team collaboration skills
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field

- Occasionally travel from the office to various work sites or from site-to-site
