Position Summary

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Villanova University invites applications for the position of Associate Teaching Professor. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical engineering.
  • Successfully conduct research that leads to high quality publications, allowed patents, and external support.
  • Develop new educational materials and disseminate new knowledge.
  • Engage in curriculum review and assessment.
  • Participate in academic advising.
  • Engage in laboratory development.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional functions, such as department meetings and committee work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate students to successfully do research that leads to high quality publications, allowed patents, and external support.
