Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor - Chemical and Biological Engineering

Position Summary

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Villanova University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor. Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Chemical Engineering including core courses, design, unit operations lab, chemical engineering economics, and select special topics electives.
• Development of new educational material.
• Dissemination of new knowledge.
• Curriculum review and assessment.
• Participation in academic advising.
• Laboratory development.
• Participation in departmental and institutional functions, such as department meetings, committee work, and program assessment.

Minimum Qualifications

• A PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• An ability to update unit operations experiments and use data acquisition software is required.
