About the Role

Tickets.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Major League Baseball (MLB), is seeking an Associate Systems Integration Analyst to manage access control equipment inventory, perform routine patches and upgrades, and ensure high availability and security of hardware. This role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to test application functionality and compatibility with various equipment models. The position serves as the point of escalation for access control equipment issues and requires working with subject matter experts and operational support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 2 product support, triaging product deficiencies, enhancement requests, and bug fixes.
  • Perform basic Operational Readiness Testing for software and hardware products.
  • Develop, document, and recommend actionable bug fixes and enhancements for software products.
  • Contribute to Proof-of-Concept (POC) requirements, technical evaluations, and program maturity.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation for equipment and application configurations.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team for inventory management of ballpark technologies.
  • Create, update, and maintain Ubuntu images for mass deployment.
  • Manage device tracking inventory and perform shipping/receiving tasks.
  • Conduct hardware break/fix repairs and plan routine patches for Linux and Android devices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Ticketing or Product Specialist/Associate role.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for weekend and evening support.
  • Ability to travel to remote locations as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware tracking systems, mobile device management, and remote hardware support.
  • Understanding of Linux and Android operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of AI IDEs (e.g., Cursor, Project IDX, JetBrains AI, Qoder).
  • Familiarity with structured prompt-based frameworks for agentic software development.
  • Basic scripting and declarative language skills (e.g., Bash, GO, Python, HCL) are a plus.
  • Comfort interacting with APIs (e.g., Postman, Paw, Insomnia) is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise tools like Jira, Asana, Google Docs, ServiceNow, Slack, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (topology, IP networking, protocols, components).
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting IT equipment (printers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, Android devices).
  • Familiarity with EMM solutions (e.g., SOTI, VMWare, Samsung Knox, JAMF).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Orion, GCP Logs Explorer, Datadog, Logstash, Nagios).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Pay

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus
