About the role
The Systems Engineer (SE) will support a customer organization and serve as a trusted agent across several SE disciplines. You will facilitate collaboration across organizations to ensure Directorate Offices' equities are considered in work product development and support other desired organizational outcomes. You will act as a contractor point of contact for office tasks, ensuring responses meet deadlines, and develop executive-level communications with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Responsibilities
- Support Directorate leadership with general SE support, including requirements management, schedule management, risk management, and readiness.
- Provide support to Directorate-level threads/focus areas, including development of processes, frameworks, and templates to facilitate integration of deliverables.
- Track and status action items, support program-based action item resolution, and provide updates on open actions to group leadership.
- Solicit and consolidate inputs from multiple sources (Government, FFRDC, SETA, developer, etc.) and produce high-quality action item responses, reports, briefings, and/or plans in accordance with customer formats and guidelines.
- Facilitate preparation and coordination of customer leadership’s briefings to governance boards/forums.
- Produce high-quality presentation materials, including multimedia products and executive-level communications.
- Provide insights and advice to the customer organization across a broad range of business, mission, and technical issues, taskings, and advisories.
- Surge and flex in support of tasks and projects across the broader program scope based on personal expertise and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks above.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Ability to excel as a team enabler with a focus on collaboration, open communication, transparency, and flexibility.
- Professional rapport with senior Government customers and colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate organizational positions.
Pay
VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $120,000 - $140,000 annually, which may vary based on work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and contractual requirements.
