About the role
This is an onsite, entry-level position for a motivated, hands-on engineer with knowledge of or experience with electro-mechanical devices. The role focuses on lab work, including running protocols, conducting tests, collecting data for assessment, and writing technical reports and presentations.

Responsibilities
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
- Participate in design concept generation, design reviews, development, and testing to assess performance against design specifications.
- Conduct reliability testing and assess system interactions.
- Make independent decisions and assist in developing manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine root cause and propose engineering solutions.
- Learn and use company concepts, policies, and procedures while following standard practices.
- Work on projects of moderate scope requiring analysis of situations or data.
- Make suggestions to improve work processes and assist in reducing patentable inventions to practice.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Participate in technical team activities and present/discuss data within the group.
- Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote "Quality First Time."
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related field).
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of basic and some specialized engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with searching technical literature.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
- Ideal candidates are energetic, inquisitive, capable of following written instructions, and possess relevant internship experience in the medical segment.
Pay
$32–42/hour, based on experience.
