About the role
The Associate will support the Supply Chain / Logistics team in Concord, NC, handling projects related to product forecasting, planning, inventory control, purchasing, customer support, and more. Special projects may involve data gathering, financial analysis, and solution development.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and project support for the business responsibilities of the Supply Chain / Logistics team.
- Manage special projects, focusing on specific tasks given by local management.
- Support corporate and strategic initiatives, including IT systems updates, manufacturing sourcing changes, long-range planning, and product variations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new and revised processes and procedures.
- Perform business analysis, analyzing specific operational or business processes as directed by management.
- Onboard materials and vendors, gathering required documentation to ensure completion of milestones.
- Manage all projects within the local Change Control system.
- Lead investigations for various Logistics events, conducting root cause analysis and documenting findings according to the local event management procedure.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience in Change Control Management.
- Technical skills, including understanding GMP requirements and experience with change management in a regulated environment.
- Project skills, including the ability to analyze, develop, and deliver solutions to business problems, create project plans, monitor schedules, and manage implementation.
- Communication skills, including the ability to communicate ideas for new projects and processes effectively.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with processes/systems impacting Logistics projects such as Commissioning/Qualification/Validation, Warehouse Operations, MES, SAP, Specifications, and Regulatory reporting.
- Prior experience working on projects to introduce existing products into new markets and on projects to introduce new products into launch markets.
