About the role

The Associate Store Manager (ASM) at United Dairy Farmers is a supportive role that shares responsibilities with the Store Manager. In the absence of the Store Manager, the ASM assumes operational duties including people, operational, guest service, and other operations.

Responsibilities

• Assigning/monitoring performance of duties, coaching The Hi Five Guest Experience, and training store associates.
• Direct counseling to associates and input for Store Manager on counseling/discipline.
• Screening interviews with applicants.
• Training current and new associates.
• Managing, training, and coaching other associates.
• Performing store administration duties such as ordering, reviewing weekly delivery reports, transferring products, and completing paperwork.
• Ensuring the delivery of an outstanding guest experience, preparing dipsides, stocking merchandise, maintaining security, reporting accurately, and performing maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Ability to operate store equipment and understand operating instructions.
• Ability to prepare and serve dipsides and handle various payment methods.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and maintain cleanliness.
• Leadership and management skills to lead the store's successful operation.
