In partnership with the General Manager, you will drive store performance by ensuring sales and contest goals are met or exceeded, optimizing payroll based on current trends, and adjusting schedules to align with business objectives. You’ll hold the team accountable for achieving targets and collaborate on recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates to build a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Train and motivate associates through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Develop associates to take on increased responsibility and provide performance feedback, appraisals, and development plans.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining World Class Service standards through effective floor management and staff coverage.
- Maintain store standards for visuals, cleanliness, signage, and safety.
- Manage store-operating procedures, including inventory levels and cash control, to minimize losses.
- Oversee accurate opening and closing procedures in compliance with company guidelines.
- Monitor company assets through precise inventory management.
- Ensure associates comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements
- 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in specialty retail.
- Proven ability to manage staff to meet and exceed sales goals while controlling payroll.
- Experience identifying top talent and training, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Effective communication and the ability to motivate and influence others through personal example.
- Ability to achieve results independently and through teamwork.
- Physical ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods, operate a POS system, and lift/move items up to 75 pounds using proper equipment and safety techniques.

Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role is $66,300–$70,000 annually, based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
