Associate Store Manager – Portland (Downtown)

About the role

Treasure Hunters Wanted! If you love fashion, there’s really no better place to work than Buffalo Exchange. You’ll play a part in training and developing a fun, fast-paced team while getting to know tons about brands and styles, learning to run a resale store and helping to create your store’s inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training, coaching and evaluating.
• Selecting and pricing a wide variety of quality, on-trend clothing directly from customers for the store.
• Impact your store’s inventory daily by training your team and overseeing the buying process!
• Keeping your knowledge of current fashions, brands and price points up to date.
• Styling displays and store visuals. Let your creativity shine!
• Operating our cash register by ringing up customers with cash and trade, plus training and overseeing register operators.
• Helping to build an amazing team for your store by fielding applications and conducting interviews.
• Tagging and sorting clothing so it’s ready for its new home.
• Providing top notch customer service. We go above and beyond for our clientele!
• Special projects and lots more!

Requirements

• Loving shopping, clothing, fashion and getting dressed up for the day!
• Being a people person who likes the idea of chatting with lots of awesome humans and loving working as a team.
• Being able to multitask and enjoying a high-energy, high-productivity environment over a 9-5 desk job.
• Having a positive, can-do attitude.
• Having retail or management experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service is a must.
• Some management or retail experience is preferred.
