About the role
We are looking for a driven Associate Solutions Engineering Program Manager to lead and mentor a team of Associate Solutions Engineers (ASEs) through their technical training journey. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technical education, program management, and a keen ability to foster career growth in others.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of the ASE training program, ensuring ASEs are meeting their learning milestones in areas such as cloud infrastructure, networking, and physical security.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering leaders and trainers to build and refine training content that meets the evolving technical needs of the company.
- Provide mentorship and career development support to ASEs, fostering a positive learning environment and offering guidance on future career paths.
- Coordinate hands-on technical projects that allow ASEs to work with Verkada's full product suite, gaining real-world experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
- Ensure ASEs are progressing in their communication and presentation skills, preparing them to interface with customers and deliver technical solutions.
- Manage program logistics, including scheduling, cohort management, managing travel, and tracking ASE progress in technical certifications and soft skill development.
- Facilitate ASE engagement with SE mentors and track the success of those relationships.
- Regularly report on ASE program performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in solutions engineering, program management, or technical enablement.
- Strong understanding of technical domains such as computer networking, cloud architecture, and security infrastructure.
- Previous experience in technical training or mentorship is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide early-career engineers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability.

Pay
- Average Annual Pay Range: $160,000—$225,000 USD
