Associate Software Engineer
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate like EEO, navigation, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Must not create sections with placeholder text.
We need to parse the job description.
Key sections:
- Intro paragraph: "At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place..." etc. That's about the role/company. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About Boeing". Use About the role
with paragraph.
- Then: "The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Software Engineer to support the ADaPS organization in Huntsville, AL." That's also about role.
- Then description of ADaPS: details about organization, programs, etc. Could be part of About the role.
- Then "Position Responsibilities:" list bullet points.
- Then "Security Clearance:" details.
- Then "Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):" list.
- Then "Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):" list.
- Then "Conflict of Interest:" maybe not needed? It's a requirement but not a standard heading; could be part of Requirements? Might be considered a qualification. Could include under Requirements? But we have headings: Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can choose which sections to include based on content.
We have responsibilities, basic qualifications (required), preferred qualifications (desired). Could map basic qualifications to "Requirements" and preferred to "Qualifications" or "Skills". But we also have skills listed within qualifications. Could combine.
We also have Pay: "Summary pay range: USD $99,450 - $134,550". Also mention Total Rewards, benefits, 401(k) etc. So we can have Benefits and Pay sections.
Schedule: "Work Location: This position is expected to be 100% onsite." Also "Shift This position is for 1st shift". Travel: up to 10%. So we can have Schedule section covering work location, shift, travel.
We must not include sections with placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". We have actual pay range, so Pay section is valid.
We must not include duplicated lines. Remove boilerplate like EEO, Drug Free Workplace (maybe keep? It's a policy but could be considered boilerplate; but it's substantive? It's a standard statement; likely considered boilerplate to remove. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So Drug Free Workplace is legal/boilerplate; remove. Also Export Control Requirements, Visa Sponsorship, Relocation, Conflict of Interest maybe? Conflict of Interest is a requirement but not standard heading; could be included under Requirements? Might be considered legal? It's a company policy; but maybe keep as part of Requirements? The instruction says remove legal boilerplate; Conflict of Interest is a legal requirement; maybe remove. However it's substantive for eligibility. But we can incorporate into Requirements as a line.
We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we must keep details like ADaPS description, responsibilities list, basic qualifications, preferred qualifications, pay range, benefits description, work location, shift, travel, security clearance, etc. Also note about CodeVue Coding Challenge, Drug Free Workplace (remove), Export Control Requirements (maybe keep as requirement?), but it's legal; but it's substantive for eligibility (U.S. Person). Might keep under Requirements.
We must not include application instructions like "Applications for this position will be accepted until Oct. 09, 2026". That's application instruction; remove.
Also remove "CodeVue Coding Challenge: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration." That's application instruction; remove.
Also remove "Drug Free Workplace: ..." remove.
Also remove "Export Control Requirements: ..." maybe keep as requirement? It's a legal requirement; but could be considered boilerplate. However it's specific: U.S. Person required. Might be considered substantive. The instruction says remove legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. Export control is legal; but it's a requirement for the job. Might be considered boilerplate but it's a condition. I'd lean to keep it under Requirements as a line: "Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet export control compliance."
Similarly "Visa Sponsorship Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status." That's also a requirement; could keep.
"Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position." That's a benefit detail; could keep under Benefits? It says not a negotiable benefit; maybe mention under Benefits that relocation assistance is not provided.
"Shift This position is for 1st shift" schedule.
We need to avoid duplication: Security Clearance appears twice; keep once.
Now structure:
