Associate Software Development Engineer
Location: Tewksbury, MA – Onsite
Salary Range: $74,100 – $95,000 per year plus bonus. Criteria such as qualifications, relevant experience, position scope, and market considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.
About the role
Join our application development team and contribute to an innovative organization making a global impact. As a Software Engineer, you will plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for enhancements and new products.
Responsibilities
- Assist the software development team to design, develop, code, test, document, and debug new software or complex enhancements to existing software
- Work with technical staff to understand and develop resolutions to software problems
- Assist with resolving customer issues and suggestions for software modifications or enhancements
- Assist with the development of software user manuals
- Interface with hardware development teams as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or software engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge of software data structures, programming methodology, computer architecture, and operating systems
- 1–2 years of demonstrated experience programming in C#, C++, and Java
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security clearance
