What You'll Do
- Respond to production escalations, recovering the tool in a timely manner, while utilizing that opportunity to train the on-shift technicians and document the root cause of the escalation to the engineering team
- Maintain and improve yield for the fleet through daily preventative and reactive actions
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities and drive solutions
- Maintain and improve availability for the fleet daily preventative and reactive actions
- Investigate quality escapes and correct tools which have been shut down due to nonconforming product
- Maintain and update process documentation such as Manufacturing Instructions, Standard Work documents, OCAP’s, PFMEA, and Control Plans
- Perform Tech Talks, perform Critical to Quality (CTQ) trainings, empower the on-shift team by qualifying on-shift Trainers
What You'll Bring
- At least 1 year of working experience as a Tesla technician (Electrode department is preferred)
- Must provide examples of: first principles thinking, questioning the requirement, innovative solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience in high-speed winding, roll-to-roll, battery cell manufacturing, laser welding, or laser cutting is preferred
