What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Quality Assurance, to resolve production issues and implement OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans)
- Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- (Flux, Jira)
- Handle MRB (Material Review Board) materials following the MRB process, including identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materials
- Support the operation of multiple tools simultaneously, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes
- Clear yield alarms and conduct initial investigations, as well as start basic OCAPs to address deviations from expected performance
- Ensure a high-level product quality by completing tasks such as web path checks, audits 5S activities, etc.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
What You'll Bring
- Experience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process role
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
- Demonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not required
- Command of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs
- Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs. and climb a 10” step and back down
- The ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install vehicle parts of varying size and weight overhead, accurately and in allotted timeframes
- Able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- The ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
- Handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts within required cycle time, quickly and accurately during new hire training and maintaining ability throughout employment
- Exposures to hazardous materials used and ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, hearing protection, full-face respirators, gloves, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
