Position Summary
The Associate Service Technician/Installer reports to the Service Supervisor
Located in Landover, MD

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Conduct installation, servicing, and repair of food service equipment
- Aid in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients
- Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently
- Manage and maintain proper equipment, parts inventory, and tools on service vehicle while keeping items in a safe condition for the respective level of service
- Survey safety devices and equipment on a regular basis
- Inspect food service equipment for the purpose of ensuring safety
- Request equipment, parts, and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensure that necessary tools are available to complete the necessary repair/installation
- Identify necessary repairs and provide ongoing preventative maintenance
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and resolutions applied
- Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Seek guidance from experienced technicians to enhance learning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service activities
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly
Qualifications & Experience
- 0 – 1 years of experience in a service-related role, (Plumbing, Automotive, Electrical) or equivalent military or practical experience
- EPA certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus
