Position Summary

The Associate Service Technician/Installer reports to the Service Supervisor
Located in Landover, MD
Full-Time
In Office

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, servicing, and repair of food service equipment
• Aid in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients
• Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently
• Manage and maintain proper equipment, parts inventory, and tools on service vehicle while keeping items in a safe condition for the respective level of service
• Survey safety devices and equipment on a regular basis
• Inspect food service equipment for the purpose of ensuring safety
• Request equipment, parts, and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensure that necessary tools are available to complete the necessary repair/installation
• Identify necessary repairs and provide ongoing preventative maintenance
• Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and resolutions applied
• Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Seek guidance from experienced technicians to enhance learning
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service activities
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 – 1 years of experience in a service-related role, (Plumbing, Automotive, Electrical) or equivalent military or practical experience
• EPA certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus
