Associate Service Technician

Position Summary

The Associate Service Technician reports to the Service Supervisor and is located in Houston, TX. This role is full-time with travel up to 25% and an on-call rotation for nights and weekends. Essential functions include conducting installations, servicing, and repairing food service equipment, assisting with diagnostics, managing equipment inventory, interacting with clients, and maintaining documentation.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, servicing, and repair of food service equipment
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients
• Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently
• Equipment Maintenance: Run mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and test tasks, survey safety devices and equipment, manage inventory, and ensure tools are available
• Customer Interaction: Interact with clients professionally, document service activities, and maintain accurate records
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs, stay updated on industry trends, and seek guidance from experienced technicians
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and report any incidents promptly

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 – 1 years of experience in a service-related role or equivalent military/practical experience
• EPA certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check post-offer acceptance
