Associate / Senior Civil Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
Incumbent will install, repair, maintain, and replace components of wastewater collection systems, filters, service pumps, and control valves.
Must be familiar with hand and power tools associated with specific tasks, as well as proper safe handling procedures.
Requirements
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of utilities related equipment.
- Possession of a valid Class “A” CDL or a valid drivers license with the ability to obtain a Class “A” license within 60 days of employment is required.
- An acceptable driving record is required.
- This position requires physical activity and the incumbent must be able to stand, crawl, climb, lift and carry 50-80 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Prefer Vac-con or TV line experience.

Work Days and Hours
Work Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. After hours emergency on call rotation which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
Emergency Response/Recovery Activities
All County employees are required to work before, during, or after an emergency as needed. This may include temporarily being assigned to work and performing duties outside of the normal scope of their position, location and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its citizens.
