Associate/Senior Associate, Hybrid Capital Solutions

About the role

Our client is a new and growing NY based fund that provides hybrid capital solutions to middle-market business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs to meet their needs for liquidity, growth and continuity. Transaction types include growth capital, acquisition financing, management buyouts, minority recaps, replacement capital, failed M&A process, succession-based planning, stretch leverage and sponsor bridge to sale.

Responsibilities

• Rigorous financial modeling skills
• Structuring and underwriting experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Execution experience
• Work in an entrepreneurial environment with active deal flow
• Close new investments

Requirements

• 3-6 years of total experience including investment banking and buy side experience
• From a fund focused on opportunistic private credit, special situations, or non-sponsored direct lending
• Candidates from a top tier growth/buyout private equity fund with exposure to junior capital investments will also be considered

Qualifications

• Track record of professional success
• Strong academic background from a major college or university

$150,000 to $200,000 base + bonus
